Russell T. Joy Building – University of Washington Tacoma

Awarded Platinum LEED Certification by the Green Building Institute, the Russell T. Joy Building, originally built in 1892, provides general classroom, study and administrative spaces for the University of Washington’s Tacoma Branch Campus. Hermanson worked closely with the General Contractor and the Design Team to fully develop mechanical system designs and to complete full mechanical systems (Plumbing, Piping, and HVAC/Sheet Metal) replacement and tenant building-out construction of the renovation of the historic building.
