On March 6, 2025, Hermanson Company had the privilege of hosting an event celebrating Women in Construction Week at The Museum of Flight in Seattle. The afternoon focused on the theme of mentorship, bringing together over 120 industry professionals to engage in valuable networking and insightful discussions.

Attendees had the opportunity to hear from inspiring speakers, including keynote speaker Melissa Kelii, founder of Honeycomb Bond and founding board member of The Pro Shop.

Angela Templin, Government Market Lead at Glumac, and Carolyn Stovall, Assistant Survey Superintendent and Trades Outreach Coordinator at JTM Construction, also shared their personal journeys within the construction industry, emphasizing the critical role of mentorship for success.

Throughout the event, attendees explored various mentorship resources, learned practical advice on how to be effective mentors and mentees, and connected with others passionate about advancing women in the industry.
