Hermanson Company is proud to announce that Jaime Hodgins, Service Foreman, has been awarded the Patriot Award by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), an office within the U.S. Department of Defense.

The Patriot Award recognizes supervisors who show exceptional support for employees serving in the National Guard and Reserve, particularly through flexibility, encouragement, and leadership that allows service members to succeed both professionally and militarily.

Jaime was nominated by fellow Hermanson Service Technician John Zimmerman, who credited Jaime’s leadership and consistent support while balancing military service, apprenticeship training, and demanding client responsibilities.

For more than four years, Jaime has led service operations for a pharmaceutical manufacturing client, an environment requiring 24/7 support and continuous coordination. Throughout that time, he played a key role in supporting John’s professional development while John also served as a leader in the Naval Construction Force, overseeing more than 100 personnel.

Reflecting on his experience working with John, Jamie shared, “What John is doing, serving in the Navy Reserve while working full time, completing his apprenticeship, and supporting his family, takes a high level of planning and communication. I wanted to do whatever I could to support him in reaching his goals and being as successful as possible.”

Jaime’s recognition reflects Hermanson’s ongoing commitment to supporting those who serve, while fostering a culture of leadership, accountability, and growth across the organization.
