Hermanson Company is a mechanical contractor that builds and services the physical infrastructure—HVAC, piping, and plumbing—for commercial, public, and institutional clients all over the Pacific Northwest.

Headquartered in Kent, Washington, the company began in 1979 as a sheet metal and HVAC system contractor. Hermanson has now grown to provide all types of mechanical services from preplanning and engineering design to systems fabrication and installation, preventative maintenance, and emergency service with more than 700 employees in Washington and Oregon. After grappling with the restrictions and security challenges inherent to on-premises infrastructure, Hermanson found the flexible, highly secure cloud services it needed with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.

We now use the 80 percent of time we used to spend simply maintaining operations and securing data to focus on the business and drive value back to our clients.- Tom Papahronis: Director of Information Technology, Hermanson Company

That’s why Hermanson Company embraced the cloud with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
