Harborview Medical Center Inpatient Emergency Building

Seattle, Washington

Hermanson was responsible for full mechanical construction for the Inpatient Expansion and Seismic Upgrades to Harborview’s North Hospital Trauma Center tower. These improvements help the hospital meet new Federal Emergency Management Immediate Occupancy standards after a significant earthquake. New construction of an Inpatient wing is adjoined to the existing facility by a bridge building. The Inpatient Wing provides new operating rooms, Emergency Department capacity, and inpatient beds.
