Microsoft Building 83

793,294 sf | Redmond, Washington | Campus

Hermanson worked with two engineering teams on this new office building on the Microsoft campus in Redmond. WSP started Design-Assist shell & core systems and Stantec (formerly Inventrix) completed major portions of shell & core design and all tenant build-out design as a Design-Build subcontractor. The 793,294 sf building included an underfloor air distribution system for labs, offices, and work environment - a variation from the typical Microsoft building standard. Hermanson was responsible for the construction of full mechanical and plumbing systems for all four floors of the building and the four floors of underground parking.
