Camlin Hotel

Seattle, Washington

Built in 1926 as a residential hotel, the Camlin is a Seattle landmark and was placed on the National Park Service's National Register of Historic Place in 1999.  When purchased for the purpose of retrofit into vacation condominium units, the hotel had last been remodeled in 1964 and was in a state of disrepair.

Hermanson worked closely with the the General Contractor, the architect and owner representatives to provide systems options and corresponding cost information that allowed the owner to obtain the best possible mechanical system within their construction budget.

The revitalized Camlin is now a 98,000 s.f., 10-story structure that provides 100 vacation condominiums in several sizes and configurations - studio, one- and two-bedroom - and features a swimming pool and spa, exercise rooms, and community lounge spaces.

I am delighted to report to you (Hermanson Company) that the Camlin project team thought your company was the "Best Subcontractor" on the project.  Your personnel did a great job of supporting the successful completion of the project and all of us here at the Rafn Company really appreciate working with such great people.
